OPERATION THUNDER II – Rules and behaviour

You participate this event at your own risk.

I. Eye-protection protocol::

You must wear your eye protection BEFORE you enter in to the field, even if you arrive on friday. You must have your protective glasses ON until the end of the event – when you sleep, or awake, whatever. Not wearing eye protection means you do not want to play. If you don’t want to play, then you can go home :D

II. Admission protocol:

All factions will use independent entry points for the game, with independent parking, off zones, and bases.

After arrival we will read the QR code we will send all the participants. Paying for the ticket at the field is not available, you have to transfer the price of the ticket before arrival. You will receive a receipt to you mail address you gave at the registration.

Before the official start of the game it is forbidden to leave your camp.

you can not place any magazines in your weapons in a parking zone. For hopup setting we will also dedicate a zone, where you can do your necessary adjustments.

First, you have to fill up a test, to confirm your knowledge about the Rules and Behaviour of the event. After it’s done, you can go to the Chrono Station. For Sniper, and DMR users we will have a different tests, to make sure, that each of the participants are familiar with the rules. If you fail to complete the DMR / Sniper sets, you can only use a replica under 1.5 joule of muzzle velocity. Please be prepared for this, and bring a “normal” replica too, not only your DMR / Sniper.

III. Chain of command:

A very strick chain of command will be on in this game. Details will follow.

IV. BB limit and reloading rules:

Secondary / pistol replicas: 20 db BB/magazine, maximum 2 magazines

  • Assault rifle replicas: 30 db BB/magazines, maximum 6 db magazines
  • Machine guns: belt, or drum feeded replicas only, with maximum 1500 bb in one magazine. Maximum 1 piece of magazine Examples: /M60, M249, M240, HK21/HK23, MG42/3, MG4, PKM, RPD, RPK stb./ /M60, M249, M240, HK21/HK23, MG42/3, MG4, PKM, RPD, RPK stb./
  • DMR replicas: 20 db BB/magazine, maximum 5 db magazines
  • sniper rifles: 10 db BB/magazine, 5 db magazines
  • Addition: For the assault rifles we are counting with + 5 BB/magazine, because of the inaccuracy of the speed loaders.
  • Re-load only possible in a HQ, or in dedicated areas. The BB limits, and the magazines will be checked frequently during the event.
  • Machine gun, DMR, and sniper limits: please contact with your Head of Officers for this!

V. Medic rules:

Card-based medic rules will be on this event ( explanation will follow )

Marking the hit:

  • 1. Participant must shout HIT! 3 times.
  • 2. Injured solider can crawl MAXIMUM 5 meters. She /He can call for Combat Medic verbal, or trough radio. Passing over any other informations except the injury is forbidden.
  • 3. Treatment: The injured solider must be treated where She/He was hit. She/He have to say to the CM, where She / He was hit, then one card should be choosen from the packet of cards at CM. 3 different injuries we have: light, medium, and heavy, an a fourth one: KIA.
  • 4. A wound must be treated by bandage it, and after the specified time is gone, the soldier “healed” ( specified time depends of the type of injury ) The second hit is KIA ( killed In Action )
  • 5. Second hit could happen before, under, or after the soldier is treated by the CM.

In KIA-status, the participant have to take on of Her/His a reflecting jacket. (we only accept reflecting vest, jackets!). You must confirm the first hit laying on the ground as well.

Helmet and plate rule: If you wear a helmet or a plate, and you get hit on a surface of those things, you can get some extra protection. If your card a “medium” injury, then it’s turning in to “easy”, and if it’s “heavy”, then it’s will be medium instead. Esay injusry is easy injury – no extra protection :) Second hit is a KIA anyway :D

VI. Knife rule::

Only with rubber knife, with 2 long cut on at least 2 limbs. Can not be treated, and you have to call your hit in silent.

VII. “Throwing” rule:

Only from the back, or from the side, from maximum 5 meters distance. The risk of “throwing” is on the participant who is using it.

VIII. Bleeding out rule:

The time of bleeding out is 10 minutes.

IX. Respawn:

It’s an independent re spawn system. If you do not want to go back to the HQ alone, you can follow your teammates with your visible jacket on, and at least from 100 meters distance until the whole fire group will re spawn.
At the HQ: First you have to report to the Medical Tent. They will administrate your name, and the time, when you start your res pawn time. As a KIA you have to spend 1 hour, as an injured, you have to spend 30 minutes at Medical Tent area. To return of the game, you have to report to the Medical station, and then you need to proceed to the HQ. They will decide what you need to do, until your teammates pops up.

X. Grenade rule:

A nyílt lángú füstgránátokon kívül minden használható, de csak a szervezőnek való bemutatás és engedélyeztetés után. A szervezők fent tartják a jogot, amennyiben egy gránát variáns használatát személy -és vagyonvédelmi szempontból balesetveszélyesnek minősítenek, úgy annak használatát elutasítsák a rendezvény folyamán. A füstgránáton kívül minden gránátnak 5 méter a hatósugara. A BB-szóró gránátok esetében is 5 m a hatósugár, tekintet nélkül arra, hogy a BB eltalálta-e a játokost avagy sem.
A rendezvény során. bizonyos pontokon lehet majd szerezni füstgránátot, melyet a szervezők biztosítanak. A gránát találatot nem lehet medikelni.

XI. Pyrotechnic rules:

You can use pyro, if it’s discussed with the organizers, and they allowed to use your pyro. Pyrotechnical effects will be used during the game by the organizers.

XII. Drone rule:

After talked to the organizers, drone can be used for INTEL, or video recording. You have to keep the relevant laws of the usage.
Shooting a drone is strongly forbidden!

Mandatory and recommended equipment

  • Eyepro, and a replacement ( at least one of them is must clear )
  • Visible, reflecting jacket ( yellow, or orange )
  • 2 bandages at least
  • PMR radio
  • Enough food, and water for the event – we do not have any canteen, and you can not leave the area, only with a very strong reason.
  • Airsoft replica, and a replacement of that
  • At least 2 batteries, enoughgreen gas, and CO2 cartridges
  • Secondary weapon if you are a DMR, or sniper!
  • At least 2 lamps, with batteries – even if you do not go out for any night mission
  • Rain protection
  • A right uniform of your faction
  • Toalett paper, “bug spray”, any kind of medical treatment you need ( If you have any medical problem, allergic stuff, or so, please inform the organizing team about. )
  • Notebook, and pencil / pen ( mandatory for squad leaders )
  • High heeled boots
  • Backpack
  • Wrist watch ( recommended )
  • Compass ( recommended )
  • A set of extra clothes ( recommended )

Attention: The organizers and they stuff – “trusty” – can check your mandatory equipments at any time. In case of you do not have something, you have to stop play, until you can show the missing piece of equipment to the organizer / trusty. If you refuse to cooperate, you will be banned from the game. The Mandatory list could change based of the order of the operational management.
